Ortovox Peak Light 40 Hiking Backpack
The Ortovox brand is a professional in the production of backpacks and proves it with every new model. Peak Light 40 is a lightweight and durable backpack that feels best in the mountains for hiking, climbing and skialp. In addition to great functionality, it is also extremely comfortable to wear.
This is a novelty for the 2020 summer season with full technical equipment, functionality and the new SWISSWOOL TEC KNIT BACK system, which will take care of moisture and sweat wicking, so your back is well taken care of. The system combines nature and technology thanks to a panel made of technical foam and heat-compressed SWISS WOOL wool, which is additionally protected by a 3D fabric. This keeps the back dry even during demanding ascents.
The word "Light" in the title is not for funt. In addition to stability and wearing comfort, the backpack offers a low weight of 1,070 g, which can be reduced by 380 g by unclipping the lid, hip strap, wire construction of the back panel and other fastening elements. Thanks to this, the backpack is a versatile companion, no matter how you conquer the mountain.
The used Nylon 420D Oxford material is extremely resistant to abrasion and tearing, at the same time it is also waterproof thanks to the PU coating. A zipper around the entire perimeter of the backpack guarantees that the equipment can be accessed from virtually anywhere. There is also standard ORTOVOX mountain equipment, including an emergency card, a chest strap with a whistle, compression straps, a light lining for better visibility of the main compartment of the backpack and a loop for attaching skis.
