On the winners’ podiums of the Enduro World Series and Rampage, the Altitude has proven what it’s capable of. And everything that defines riding this bike has now been incorporated by Rocky Mountain into their most progressive e-bike yet—the Altitude Powerplay III is the perfect instrument for endless trail exploration and aggressive enduro riding. It’ll give you a boost of watts and plenty of smiles.

The spotlight is rightfully on the new, refined Dyname™ S4 Pro drive with an incredible 1,000 W of power and 110 Nm of torque. With this, power is delivered to ensure an intuitive experience during demanding climbs and steep descents. This is aided by a sensor that measures chain tension, replacing the digital process with a mechanical one and thereby accelerating the motor’s response for the most natural riding feel.

Power delivery can be adjusted on the Jumbotron display. You can use 4 different levels of assistance and, newly, the Boost level, which lets you adjust how the motor responds to your pedaling power. The higher the boost level, the less effort you need to put into pedaling. If you lower the boost, more effort is required, but battery range is extended.

The e-bike has borrowed everything it could from its analog version. It has the same geometry, which you can further fine-tune using the RIDE-4 system in 4 different configurations. In addition, it also features the brand-new LC2R rear suspension design, which significantly lowers the center of gravity. This means perfect handling of uneven terrain, shock absorption without slowing down, and excellent control during direction changes—even at high speeds.

This new generation of the Powerplay system is equipped with a 720Wh battery, and since this bike is meant to ride, not sit by a power outlet, the 4A cable will have the battery fully charged in just 3 hours and 55 minutes, ready to take you on your next adventure.
