The new Kita APX sets a new standard for all-mountain gear. The groundbreaking new Dual BOA® WrapStrap closure provides incredible support and lockdown, while the increased stiffness of the boot allows you to ski down steep slopes with ease, handle hard park landings and carve sharp turns. The use of cutting-edge technology is standard here– with a thermoformable Gold liner and Vibram® Approach outsole, you can be sure that your feet will stay comfortable from the first lift to the last ride. Tightening System

• Dual BOA® WrapStrap – A new closure innovation that provides incredible support and even pressure distribution. The upper laces and integrated power strap are controlled by the BOA® H4 dial. The forefoot is tightened using a second, separate, low-profile dial.
• H4 Coiler™ Technology – The BOA dial is highly durable to meet the needs of even the most demanding riders, while allowing for easy and quick tightening to your liking.

Inner Liner

• Gold Liner – premium inner liner with an asymmetrical shape to reduce pressure points and improve flexibility around the ankle. Flex zone in the toe area provides space for better blood circulation to the toes in winter. Extra PU support for better lateral stiffness.
• Thermoforming – the inner liner is made of memory foam, which adapts perfectly to the foot during wear, or this process can be accelerated by thermoforming. The result is maximum comfort without pressure points.
• 3D Liner Support – great foot support thanks to the 3D shaped inner liner and J-bars around the ankle that hold it in place for maximum energy transfer.
• Velcro Closure – fast, intuitive and reliable fastening of the inner liner using Velcro.
• Space Blanket – thermal insulation between the outsole and the bottom of the inner liner to keep the cold out and the warmth in.

Outsole and Cushioning

• Vibram® Approach Outsole - a premium ICE-TREK compound outsole that excels in grip on icy surfaces and has improved traction on the heel and toe. EVA midsole for maximum comfort.
• OC Kush – gel inserts placed under the heel absorb shock and sudden impacts to reduce foot fatigue and increase overall comfort. They also allow for comfortable walking.
• OrthoLite® X40 Insole – an innovative 3D molded insole designed by biomechanics experts. Made from two materials of different densities, it features recycled EVA under the heel and wraps around the entire foot, providing superior support and exceptional rebound.

Special Technology

• 3D Molded Toebox - The toebox is formed in one piece to eliminate seams, reduce size and provide extra durability. It also makes it easier to slip on and off the bindings.
• 3D Permaflex Tongue - Molded TPU tongue ensures consistent flexibility for reliable support season after season.
• Asym 3F - Asymmetrical boot shape and closure for optimal support and flexibility. Anatomical shape provides great performance and riding feel. Designed in collaboration with the BOA system for ultimate comfort and performance.
• ArmorTech – a TPU strap that wraps around the front of the boot, protecting the material from abrasion and protecting the toes from impacts to the toe.
• Exo-Spine – a durable back panel that forms a seamless connection with the outsole, ensuring instant energy transfer from heel to toe, extra stiffness, support and greater durability.
