Hybrid lacing combines the proven and reliable classic traditional laces with a modern BOA dial, which tightens the internal Heel Lock for a perfect ankle grip.

The Kita is equipped with an ArmorTech TPU toe cap that protects your toes when climbing through hard snow, and thanks to the ExoSpine construction connecting the boot to the sole, you get maximum responsiveness. High-quality Vibram ICE-TREK soles are reliable on icy surfaces, and the EVA foam midsole, together with OC Kush gel inserts, guarantee cushioning and comfort. The inner anatomical and thermoformable liner wraps your foot in an extra layer of comfort, and the Space Blanket thermal layer protects you from the cold. In short, this is a boot that will take care of you even in the most demanding conditions.

Tightening system

• Hybrid Tightening - the combination of classic lacing and BOA dial brings the perfect combination of reliability and firm anchoring in the boot.
• Classic Lacing – allows you to tighten the shoes perfectly according to your needs. Thanks to the metal stops, you can secure the tightness of the laces and adjust the tightness in different parts of the boot.
• Single BOA® – a system for tightening the ankle area using one highly durable Boa H4 winding wheel for more precise and faster tightening using steel laces.
• H4 Coiler™ Technology – The BOA dial is highly durable to meet the needs of even the most demanding riders, while allowing for easy and quick tightening to your liking.
• Internal Heel-lock – Say goodbye to heel lift. The harness, attached to the inside of the shell and tongue, is tightened using the BOA dial. The laces are guided to pull the ankle back and comfortably lock it in place.

Inner Liner

• Gold Liner – premium inner liner with an asymmetrical shape to reduce pressure points and improve flexibility around the ankle. Flex zone in the toe area provides space for better blood circulation to the toes in the winter. Extra PU support for better lateral stiffness.
• Thermoforming – the inner liner is made of memory foam, which adapts perfectly to the foot during wear, or this process can be accelerated by thermoforming. The result is maximum comfort without pressure points.
• Velcro Closure – quick and intuitive fastening of the inner liner with Velcro.
• Space Blanket – thermal insulation between the outsole and the bottom of the inner liner to keep the cold out and the warmth in.

Soles and Cushioning

• Vibram® Approach outsole - a premium ICE-TREK compound outsole that excels in grip on icy surfaces and has improved traction on the heel and toe. EVA midsole for maximum comfort.
• OC Kush – gel inserts placed under the heel absorb shock and sudden impacts to reduce foot fatigue and increase overall comfort. They also allow for comfortable walking.
• 3D Triple-Density Insole – anatomically shaped 3D EVA insole with three different densities – the stiffest material provides support around the heel and under the arch, while the more flexible material under the heel provides cushioning. The insole with fleece and silicone grip holds the foot firmly in place and retains warmth.

Special Technology

• 3D Molded Tongue – The 3D molded tongue provides an anatomical fit around the shin and reduces pressure points for increased comfort and tailored support.
• 3D Molded Toebox - The toebox is formed in one piece to eliminate seams, reduce size and provide extra durability. It also makes it easier to slip on and off the bindings.
