Nidecker Kita Women's Snowboard Boots

The Kita-W sets a new standard for women’s all-mountain snowboard boots. Inspired by the technical demands of polar and mountain expeditions, it’s crammed with features and delivers supremely reliable performance from first lift til’ last. Comfort is key to its design, starting with an asymmetrical shape that perfectly matches Nidecker's bindings for a really natural connection to your board. Where possible, we’ve welded components to the upper rather than sewn them, giving it a unique seamless build that’s way more waterproof. We’ve also added a tough TPU shield around the front called ArmourTech, which will protect your toes while you’re kicking steps into the snow or hiking over rocks.

The Dual BOA lacing system includes a specially-developed External Heel Lock – controlled via the tongue dial – to keep your foot firmly in place, while the lower part of the boot can be tightened using the side dial. There are two EVA components in the midsole for better dampening, and the B.F.T Vibram Approach outsole benefits from an Icetrek rubber compound for unreal grip. Nidecker's new Transition Zone tech seamlessly connects this outsole to the Exo Spine, accelerating response and preventing damage to the back of the boot when it rubs the binding. With a top-of-the-line, asymmetric Gold Liner, comfortable warmth and support are guaranteed right out the box – and of course it’s fully heat moldable for a custom fit. • Gold Heat Moldable Liner - premium inner boot with an asymmetric shape to reduce pressure points and improve flexibility around the ankle. The flex zone in the toe area provides space for better circulation of the fingers in winter. Extra PU for better lateral stiffness.
• 3D-molded Triple-Density Insole - the anatomically shaped comfortable EVA insole is complemented by high-density EVA foam for heel and arch support, and special EVA with extra cushioning properties on the heel. The insole in the boot is fixed by a silicone pattern.
• 3D Molded Tongue - 3D molded tongue provides an anatomical fit around the shin and rises in the toe area to reduce pressure points for greater comfort and tuned support.
• 3D Molded Toebox - the toe is made from one piece to eliminate seams, reduce size and extra durability. It also makes it easier to slide in and out of the binding.
• Asym 3F - FIT - FEEL - FLEX, asymmetrical boot shape and fastening for optimal support and flexibility. The anatomical shape provides great performance and driving feel. Designed in collaboration with the Boa system for ultimate comfort and performance.
• Armor-Tech Waterproof - a TPU strap that wraps around the front of the shoe, protecting the material from abrasion and protecting the toes from toe impacts
• Exo-Spine Technology - back support that forms a structural connection between different parts of the boot. It thus guarantees instant transfer of energy from heel to toe, extra stiffness, support and higher durability.
• Space Blanket - thermal insulation between the sole and the lower part of the inner shoe to keep the cold outside and the heat inside.
• 1:1Lasting - Nidecker designed unique shapes for men's, women's and children's boots. Each size has a maximally adapted construction, and in addition, the boots have an anatomical, thermoformable inner boot. Boots with an 8° tilt offer the perfect balance between comfort and performance.
