Spark R&D's most sought-after binding that feels at home in pristine powder, but is versatile enough to handle any surface. The component design takes care to reduce weight without compromising great functionality. So this lightweight binding with medium flex will offer you the ultimate experience on the climb and the descent. The binding features Tesla T1 technology.

New for the 22/23 season is the use of the new Smooth Touring (ST) technology, which extends the life of the components and reduces friction between them. This makes the climb smoother than ever before. Also, all bindings are now unisex only, making the choice a little easier again.

Smooth Touring (ST)

For the 22/23 season, several binding components were modified using the overmolding technique. A special thermoplastic compound, which has ideal properties resistant to frost and abrasion, is injected onto aluminum or steel parts. This brings an even smoother feeling when climbing thanks to the reduction of mutual friction between the individual components. Their service life is thus extended and they bear the new designation Smooth Touring - ST.

Specifications

• Baseplate - CNC machined base has a maximum of cutouts for lightening without affecting strength and performance, the sides of the base are partially filled for greater durability. The cut-outs also allow manipulation of the pucks with the binding in place.
• Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highbacks - one of the novelties of this season are asymmetric ergonomic highbacks that are flatter at the top for better lateral mobility. The highbacks on the PRO model are reinforced with carbon for greater lightness and greater stiffness. FLAD - possibility to adjust the tilt of the highback completely without tools.
• ST Whammy Bars - heel riser support is built right into the base and allows for easy repositioning on steep slopes. You simply switch from horizontal to low (12°), high (18°) and back.
• ST Touring Brackets - new touring brackets use ST technology. A plastic compound is remelted through holes in the aluminum base, creating brackets that last four times longer than their previous brass versions.
• Tesla Snap Ramp - binding with the T1 system is fixed by sliding it from the side into the ramp holders without any complicated manipulation. Enables attachment of Ibex cats and easy assembly and disassembly. The PRO version has 33% lighter pins.
• Puck Compatibility – the binding is designed to work with all puck-compatible splitboard models. Pucks must be purchased separately.
• Pillow Line Straps – The PRO model has straps made of premium material Pebax®, which is 20% lighter. The straps are durable and comfortable, water repellent and have a one-piece molded construction. The ankle strap is equipped with an elastic opening for maximum adaptability.
• Toe Straps – designed to fasten both over the toe and over the instep
• T1 Heel Rest - captures the heel riser at 12° and 18° positions and is specifically designed to hold the T1 Step Locker in place
• Buckles & Plastics – buckles made of premium, 20% lighter Pebax® material, which maintains elasticity in a wide temperature range. All straps feature proven Burton buckles.
