Nitro Squash Splitboard

The new Squash splitboard is based on the Squash snowboard. It floats in powder, turns with ease and flies so high you'll be dizzy. The Squash was so well received among snowboarders that the guys at Nitro decided to split it up and make a splitboard version to have even more fun with it. For the 22/23 season it's already a well established board with great features.

The raised T7075 aluminum hooks with increased durability for easy connection on the hill are made for longevity. To experience something not marked on the map, at minimal cost, is priceless. If you're looking for a splitboard that will bring you joy after a tough uphill journey, you've come to the right place.

How to choose splitboard?

Choosing the right splitboard gear is one of the most important steps to getting the most out of splitboarding. That's why we've prepared a How To section in cooperation with #FreerideTV. Today we'll give you advice on how to choose a splitboard, what to wear and how to try to avoid unpleasant situations in the mountains. Let's do it!

Splitboarding is a sport that attracts more and more people. It's an escape from the crowded resorts and a longing for icy silence in the middle of the woods and mountain tops. However, much more than other sports, the right equipment is very important in splitboarding because it can save your life. In addition to the splitboard and bindings, essential equipment includes pucks, climbing skins, poles and avalanche safety equipment.

You can do without them when you first start splitboarding, but in time every enthusiast will appreciate them. And by these we mean crampons. These are used in steep slopes and traverses on frozen surfaces.

The last important piece of the whole puzzle is the the right freeride clothing and avalanche backpack that can comfortably hold your avalanche gear. And how to put it all together and not go crazy, Dominik will advise you in the above mentioned video.
