The ability to lock the heel during the ascent mode helps you quickly adapt to changing terrain. Step Lock design from Spark R&D is very easy to use. Just turn the lever to the locked position and step onto the binding to lock. The heel will remain securely locked until you turn the lever back to the unlocked position.
