The Sunpowered Polyester Kit contains everything you need to fix small and large repairs to your poly surfboard. Inside you'll find 118ml of Silmar's premium UV resin. The kit includes Q-Cell for larger repairs, a fiberglass cloth, sandpaper for roughening, overlay sheets, as well as tools like gloves and a mixing cup.

Usage Procedure

1. Find a shady place to prepare.
2. Remove dirt and grease from the surface, we also recommend sanding the surface for better adhesion.
3. If the damage is deeper, add Q-Cell to the resin and mix. The resulting mixture should be stiffer but still fluid.
4. Apply the resin and cover it with a smooth piece of foil, wax paper, or other smooth, translucent material (this step is necessary for quick and reliable "healing").
5. Move to the sun, remove the cover foil only after the resin has hardened. In strong sunlight, the repair is completed in 3-5 minutes (the duration of hardening depends on the intensity of sunlight).
6. Use sandpaper to smooth the surface and, if necessary, apply a final layer of resin without Q-Cell and repeat the curing process.
