Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5×2.40" Wire ST/DH Tire

The redesigned Maxxis Minion DHR II borrows the sidewall pattern from the legendary Minion DHF and widens it for more cornering support. The center tread pattern is designed to support acceleration and smooth transitions when leaning the bike. Paddle-shaped lugs provide braking efficiency and help you keep the bike under control.

The combination of Minion DHR II tires at the rear and Minion DHF at the front gives you the ultimate trail combo for aggressive riding.

Wire Bead

The bead's job is to keep the tire in contact with the rim. A solid wire bead is ideal when maximum strength is required and tire compactness is not a priority.

Super Tacky (ST) Mixture

A very grippy, low-bounce compound used in select mountain bike tires.

Downhill (DH)

Maxxis Downhill tires are designed for extreme riding, from downhill to bike park and freeride to long-range e-bikes. They are made with two layers of durable 60 TPI material along with a large butyl rubber insert that extends from each bead to the sidewall. This insert helps prevent flats, protects the rim from impacts and provides additional sidewall stability.
