Wide Trail (WT)

Maxxis tires based on the Wide Trail construction are optimized for modern wide rims (30-35 mm). As a result, the tire, worn on a wide rim, maintains an optimal round profile without unwanted flattening, thus offering maximum performance.

• Wide Trail tires for trail, enduro and downhill use are designed for rims with an inner width of 35 mm and are compatible with 30-35 mm rims.
• Wide Trail tires for XC use are designed for rims with an inner width of 30 mm and are compatible with 25-30 mm rims.

Tubeless Ready (TR)

If you plan to get rid of excess grams and worries about defects, choose tires with the label Tubeless Ready. They use a compound compatible with sealant and have a reinforcement in the sidewall that strengthens the resistance to puncture. They also feature a special tubeless bead that adheres better to the rim. Tubeless tires can also be used with a tube.
