Hyperlite Blueprint Wakeboard

Blueprint provides wakeboarders of all levels with an unrestrained and energetic ride that can take on calm waters and deliver excellent pop in the waves. A bottom center groove stretching from tip to tail chops up the water, and Trever Maur says it's "the softest board to land on ever," allowing him to focus more on tricks than hitting the right spot on impacts. Adding to this insane pop are the scooped tip and tail shapes that get you fired up every time you pick up a wakeboard. Blueprint takes your ride to the next level while providing freedom, fun and playfulness.

Attention! Mechanical damage to the wakeboard caused by riding over obstacles or during jumps can lead to a defect that cannot be claimed under warranty.

Specifications

  • Usage: Boat
  • Biolite 3 Core – The core material is the gold standard in the industry and is used throughout the Hyperlite range. Bio 3 is their lightest and most durable compound yet.
  • Continuous Rocker – The line of rockers that started it all. Speed and smooth, predictable pop describe it perhaps best. Rocker designed to transfer high speed to the wakeboard with minimal resistance. Continuous rocker creates a longer trajectory with steady pop during every ride.
  • Variable Edge Design – an edge shape that varies from tip to tail, moving to sharper edges near the tip and tail from a gentler, rounded or beveled shape under the stance.
  • Dual Concave Base - Directing water into two streams through the fins and out of the tail for a fast and free ride.
  • Molded Landing Feature – A structural element/shape that disperses water on impact for a softer landing.
  • Layered Glass – Traditional fiberglass loses its elasticity and properties over time. At Hyperlite, they have therefore developed Layered glass technology, thanks to which each of their boards retains the same pop for many years.
  • Monocoque Construction – Integration of the top and bottom layers of fiberglass into one. Creates a more durable board in side impacts, thus preventing delamination.
  • Sized Up Philosophy – advances in board construction have reduced the overall weight of wakeboards. This development means you can ride a bigger board and enjoy more pop and time in the air, as well as more stability on the board and a more comfortable landings.
  • M6 Inserts – more secure attachment of screws to inserts and better attachment of bindings
  • Aaron Stumpf - Aaron Stumpf leads the research and development team at Hyperlite that shapes many of their best selling wakeboards and surfboards. Aaron is a product design specialist with 25 years of experience while creating manufacturing processes and innovative design patterns at Hyperlite.
  • Fins: 4× 0.7” Blueprint

Whether you have been riding a wakeboard for some time or you are a complete newcomer to the sport, there are a few things you should always keep in mind when buying a new wakeboard. In our offer you can choose wakeboards from leading brands Hyperlite and Ronix.

Jak si vybrat wakeboard?

The most important factors to consider when choosing a wakeboard are its dimensions, your preferred riding style, and the board’s rocker. If you’re a beginner, look for a board with more pronounced channels in the base, which are easier to control and more forgiving of mistakes. More expensive wakeboards, typically for advanced riders, offer specific riding characteristics that experienced riders will appreciate and make the most of..

Choose a Wakeboard Size Based on Your Weight

Your weight is the key factor here. Using a simple chart, you can easily determine the right size for your wakeboard. You’ll find this chart on our website under each product’s details. For each weight category, there are usually several suitable lengths.

  • Shorter wakeboards are slower, but offer better maneuverability in the air.
  • Longer wakeboards stay on the water better, so they’re faster and more stable, but harder to control during jumps.

Will You be Riding Behind a Boat or at a Cable Park?

We also choose a wakeboard based on where we plan to ride most often. In our selection, we categorize wakeboards into those designed for cable parks and those for behind a boat riding. Other specifications depend on this, particularly the type of base used and the number and type of fins.

Choose a board with a durable base for the cable park

If you're interested in riding at a cable park and jumping over features, choose a wakeboard with a durable base that will protect your board during frequent riding on rails and kickers. Removable fins are also important for park boards, as they can get in the way on features.

Choose a board with fins if u plan to go behind a boat

When riding behind a boat, you can use any wakeboard, preferably with four removable fins, or with six, where four are firmly profiled (or molded-in) and two middle ones are removable. A larger number of fins improves the riding properties of the board, which is then faster, holds better when riding on the edge and does better withstand various tricks. However, if you are a complete beginner, feel free to purchase the board with two fins, which guarantee excellent stability. There are also riders who prefer to ride without fins, the so-called "finless" boards, but this requires higher level of skills and mastered technique, because the board glides very easily on the water and it is difficult to maintain direction.

The Rocker Determines the Riding Characteristics of the Board

  • Continuous Rocker - There are countless rockers. Each rocker is constructed according to the model's focus on riding style. Rocker is mainly used for park wakeboards.
  • Stage Rocker - This type of rocker is unique among wakeboards behind a boat. The classic rocker is complemented by a concave for a better slide on the wave and thus prevents the edge from being swallowed by water.
  • Rocker Late - The wakeboard remains straight between the bindings and the tip and tail rise only behind the binding. This rocker is suitable for both types of rides - universal.
  • Rocker Early - This rocker is used by the Ronix brand. This is a full-depth wakeboard rocker that makes it ideal for park riding.
  • Camber - Ronix has also come up with a revolutionary camber rocker design. The camber between the bindings is the opposite of the usual rockers on wakeboards, allowing the rider to achieve the correct stance/posture without transferring all the power to the back foot. These wakeboards are suitable for riding behind a boat.

Base Types

Cable park wakeboards have a sintered base that is resistant to features, while wakeboards for use behind a boat have an extruded base.

  • Sintered Base – A durable base designed for the park and all types of features.
  • Enduro Base – It has better glide for easier riding behind a boat, but it's not suitable for the park.

Edges

  • Monocoque – Reinforced fiberglass edge. This technology is primarily used by Ronix, making the edge extremely sturdy.
  • Krypto Cable – The Sidewall ABS edge is highly impact-resistant. It is used on models designed for cable parks.

What is the Purpose of the Grooves in the Base?

The more channels and the deeper they are, the easier it is to ride through turns or land jumps. The downside, however, is riding on rails. A wakeboard with no channels is ideal for riding features. The downside, however, is that it’s harder to edge or land jumps from rails.

Who are These Fins Intended For?

Fins replace the channels and are suitable for riding behind a boat. Cable park wakeboards have shorter fins, and most riders remove them right away.

What are the Differences in Wakeboard Shapes?

Board shapes vary, and each rider has their own personal preference. Wakeboards designed for use behind a boat have more complex tip and tail shapes compared to those made for cable parks. The latter, on the other hand, are usually simpler. They are straight, tapered at the tip, or have a specific shape designed to make popping easier.
