Magped Ultra 2 150N Pedals

The ULTRA2 ultralight pedals are made of magnesium and titanium for uncompromising durability in off-road mountain biking. They're equipped with pins and you can use position plates to ensure your shoe is always attached to the magnet in the same position. The patented mechanism allows for easy disengagement whenever needed. Compared to mechanical foot pedals, the risk of falling is reduced to a minimum and you can focus on riding without fear.

Advantages of Magped Pedals

• They enable circular movement involving the extensor and flexor muscles for maximum performance.
• Despite using a magnetic system, Magped pedals are comparable in weight to other high-end pedals.
• The pedal allows the foot to rotate sideways, reducing stress on the ankles.
• The pulling force depends on the choice of magnet, but is around 18 kg in the case of the 150N magnet. By swinging your foot out of the pedal you can easily disconnect the shoe from the pedal. In a critical situation, the force of the magnet can be overcome by vertical force.
• Metal sole plates are compatible with SPD shoes*. The reduction in efficiency due to dirt is not significant and the great advantage is completely undisturbed walking. As a rule, the Magped system plate does not extend outwards from the sole.
• The pedal contains three sealed industrial bearings and the pins can be replaced if necessary. The high-performance neodymium magnets can be adjusted via the integrated damping unit.
