Arbor Coda Camber Splitboard

Tired of resorts and it's time to explore the surrounding terrain? With the Arbor Coda splitboard, every mission will be an unforgettable experience. The rock-steady split with camber profile will support you through every turn, and the Karakoram locks reliably engage the two halves together, allowing for a solid feel underfoot. Using Highland's lightest core construction lends the board a lightweight feel on the way up, all without compromising stability.

Specifications

  • 4-point System Camber - traditional camber for precise riding, high pop and perfect edge hold even in the sharpest curves.
  • Hand Dyed Ash Powerply - structured ash wood top layer
  • R.A.P. Topless Technology - a production process that eliminates the need for Bio-Plastic Topsheet technology, resulting in a lighter and more ecological board.
  • Universal Splitboard Insert Packs
  • FSC Certified Highland Split Core - highly versatile core with additional reinforcements for super light performance and durability
  • Mixed Glassing - mixture of biax/triax fiberglass
  • Carbon Uprights - carbon uprights for increased durability, pop and performance
  • 360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls - sidewalls resistant to damage
  • Sintered Base - fast and durable sintered base
  • Recycled Steel Edges - Highly durable edges embody two Arbor values: quality and sustainability.
  • Wend Natural Wax - All Arbor snowboards are immediately ready to ride thanks to a layer of Wend Natural Wax.
  • Entropy Bio Resin - a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that does not affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Entropy Bio Resin are obtained as by-products or waste products from other industrial processes and are produced using green chemistry techniques that reduce the material's carbon footprint by up to 40% compared to petroleum-derived equivalents.
  • Recycled ABS - when a plastic alternative is not available, as in the case of the ABS sidewall, Arbor chooses recycled material to increase the sustainability of the products
  • Karakoram Ultra Clips - the highest quality and most reliable clips
  • Flex 7/10

How to choose splitboard?

Choosing the right splitboard gear is one of the most important steps to getting the most out of splitboarding. That's why we've prepared a How To section in cooperation with #FreerideTV. Today we'll give you advice on how to choose a splitboard, what to wear and how to try to avoid unpleasant situations in the mountains. Let's do it!

Splitboarding is a sport that attracts more and more people. It's an escape from the crowded resorts and a longing for icy silence in the middle of the woods and mountain tops. However, much more than other sports, the right equipment is very important in splitboarding because it can save your life. In addition to the splitboard and bindings, essential equipment includes pucks, climbing skins, poles and avalanche safety equipment.

You can do without them when you first start splitboarding, but in time every enthusiast will appreciate them. And by these we mean crampons. These are used in steep slopes and traverses on frozen surfaces.

The last important piece of the whole puzzle is the the right freeride clothing and avalanche backpack that can comfortably hold your avalanche gear. And how to put it all together and not go crazy, Dominik will advise you in the above mentioned video.
