Terie Lisková: An Ostrava Native Conquering Europe on Wakeboard

Wakeboarding in the Czech Republic may not be as widespread as hockey or football, but there are still athletes making big waves. One of them is Tereza “Terie” Lisková – a rider who combines a love for adrenaline, water, and four-legged companions.

From Těrlicko to European Podiums

Terie comes from Ostrava and discovered wakeboarding at the Těrlicko wake park, where she made her first attempts behind the cable. Today, she lives in Brno, staying close to both her home park Wake Merkur and her community.

Success on the Czech Scene

She is among the dominant riders in the Masters (+30 Ladies) category in national competitions. In 2025, she won events such as the Community Wake Cup in Těrlicko and the Czech National Championships, taking home gold medals. Her riding proves that experience and technique can match youthful aggression.

European Bronze

The summer of 2025 brought another milestone – at the European Championships in Sosnowiec (Poland), she claimed bronze in the +30 Ladies category. Facing strong competition, Terie proved she belongs among the best riders in her age group in Europe.

Energy, Dogs, and Passion for Water

Beyond wakeboarding, she is a passionate dog lover, as seen on her social media. Her lifestyle blends sport, nature, and her four-legged companions – creating the image of an athlete full of energy both on and off the water.
