Mother Nature herself is the source of inspiration for the curves of the Nidecker Beta snowboard. Of all the Instinct Series models, Beta is the most focused on powder riding. It has a setback, a spoon-shaped tip and a short swallow's tail, so it easily immerses the tail while keeping its nose above the snow. The distinctly directional shape was designed for easy passage through the snowy landscape, as if it were water. The heart of the board is the NDK Swiss Core complete with carbon and Absorbnid topsheet. The result is a perfect balance between maneuverability and shock absorbing capabilities.

Technology

• Surfy Camrock - better buoyancy and carving when riding on the back foot
• Premium Sandwich Construction - next level construction, increases performance and response of standard Sandwich construction. Adding advanced materials like carbon and kevlar gives the board more pop and improves shock absorption.
• Biax Plus Fiberglass - standard 90° biaxial laminate is designed to be error forgiving and has a predictable torsional flex. Reliable and ideal for all types of terrain and riders.
• Absorbnid Topsheet - An innovative topsheet has been developed to absorb unwanted vibrations for a smooth ride.
• 4 × 2/6 Inserts - With 6 rows of inserts every 2 cm, this combination is the industry standard and works with all bindings on the market.
• NDK Swiss Core - wooden core from sustainably sourced Swiss poplar
• N-7000 Base - extremely tough and durable slide that provides exceptional glide
• Pop Carbon - strategically placed carbon fibers for an even more reactive board, better pop and stiffness
