Spark R&D Ibex ST PRO Crampon
The new splitboard crampons come with an upgrade using Smooth Touring (ST) technology. This uses a specially designed thermoplastic compound that is moulded onto an aluminium fastening system. The thermoplastic layer is highly durable, reducing friction between the components and allowing them to rotate smoothly.
The PRO version is 30% lighter than the classic Ibex ST. This is because it is made of 7075 aluminium, which is just as strong, but lighter and thinner, and cuts great into the snow. So you get great performance in a more compact design.
- The crampons reliably keep you on the icy surface and work independently of the position of the heel support.
- Aluminum construction with cutouts for lightness.
- Ideal for icy and steep surfaces.
- One crampon is slightly wider, which allows them to be closed for convenient packing and transport.
