You are looking at one of the lightest splitboards in the world. The Ultralight Hovercraft 2.0 is designed for the most demanding mountain expeditions – light as a feather, but strong as a rock. In short, it is built to withstand technically difficult terrain.

The directional shape with a tapered tail and long cutout can handle any surface, and despite its compact dimensions, the board offers great performance. Its construction consists of premium materials and components that ensure exceptional lightness without compromising strength and durability. These properties are provided by carbon, which is used extensively here, both in the lamination and as an additive in the base material. With Koroyd technology, you also get first-class damping properties for maximum comfort, control, and precision, which is essential when riding in high mountains.

• Tapered Shape 17 mm: the tapered tail sinks better in powder and the wider nose floats better for easy floating and faster turns.
• Directional Camber/Rocker Profile: A dominant camber complemented by rocker in the front and minimal or no rocker in the rear. The rocker in the front improves float and handling in deep snow, while the camber from the front binding to the tail offers solid edge grip, precise response and stability.
• Ultra Base Base: Exclusive sintered carbon base for top speed and wax absorption. Enriched with several types of wax for perfect glide in warm, wet and variable snow. Made in Austria.
• Triax Fiberglass + Fusion Carbon Lamination: an exclusive ultralight construction of carbon and fiberglass, laid from tip to tail, is designed to reduce the weight of the board without affecting performance and response.
• Ultralight Eco Topsheet: a lightweight version of the castor bean bioplastic topsheet that provides exceptional abrasion and impact resistance while minimizing environmental impact.
• High 3D Contour Base: 3D contours with 7mm bevel in the nose and 0-7mm bevel in the tail. The spoon-shaped bevel starts at the contact points where the board lifts into rocker. This 3D shaping is used for dynamic and smooth descents, intuitive turn entry and better float in powder.
• Koroyd Cushioning: Award-winning Koroyd, developed from aerospace technology, is the lightest cushioning layer in Jones snowboards. It absorbs vibrations and reduces tip weight, allowing for faster, smoother turns.
• Fusion Core: A high-tech wood core made from select paulownia with poplar layers along the sidecut for increased edge resistance. Designed for Ultralight models - it's Jones' lightest core ever and offers the perfect strength-to-weight ratio.
• Inner/Outer High Traction Tech: Edges like a serrated knife that cuts into the snow. Traction Tech improves edge grip by providing extra contact points/bumps along the entire length of the board. Splitboards also feature this technology on the inner edges for better traction when hiking.
• Quick Tension Tail Clip: Built-in system for attaching riser straps using a pre-cut notch that eliminates the need for a traditional clip at the back of the splitboard.
• Karakoram Tip-Lock Tip Clips 2.0: a simple but reliable ABS lock.
• Karakoram Ultra Clips 3C: The clips feature an ultra-lightweight and highly durable three-point system. They are adjustable so you can adjust the tension between the plates over the years.
• Boltless Bridge – a stronger core in the area of the locks ensures their firm hold without hitting the base. This also gives the board greater torsional rigidity.
