The tire of Maxxis Assegai bears the name of the spear used in combat by members of the South African Zulu tribe. Greg Minnaar, a native of South Africa, acknowledged that it was a suitable name for a tire used to fight on mountain slopes. The high protrusions are precisely cut into sand or clay, but at the same time ensure traction on wet roots or stones. Wide Trail (WT)
